Taysir Mahmud, General Secretary, and President Mohammad Emdadul Haque Chowdhury
The election of the London Bangla Press Club was held on 30th January.
Mohammad Emdadul Haque Chowdhury has become the president in the election. On the other hand, Taysir Mahmud has won the post of General Secretary.
Other winners are Senior Vice President Tareq Chowdhury, President Rahmat Ali, Assistant Secretary Sayem Chowdhury, Treasurer Saleh Ahmed, Assistant Treasurer Mohamud Abdul Qayyum, and Organising and Training Secretary Imran Ahmed. Media and IT Secretary Md. Abdul Hannan, Event and Facilities Secretary Md. Rezaul Karim Mridha,
Ahad Chowdhury Babu, Anwar Shahjahan, J U M Nazmul Hossain, MD, Sarwar Hussain, and Shahnaz Sultana won the positions of executive members.
A total of 33 candidates filed nominations for 15 posts on Sunday, 2nd January. On 9th January, Election Commissioner Bazlur Rashid released the final list of candidates.
