The traditional dish of Cox’s Bazar is Mochar Ghant with Prawns

Mocha or banana flower cooking was added to the Bengali food list since long ago. Banana mocha is one of the vegetables available throughout the year in Bangladesh. Banana mocha is a vegetable that is found all over Bangladesh. Banana mocha is the narrow brownish flower that can be seen at the very end of the banana stem. Mocha is delicious to eat and has many different names and spellings – like mocha ghant, mocha chop, etc. However, the traditional food of Cox’s Bazar is Mochar Ghant with prawns.

Materials

Mocha batter-2 bowls

Shrimp-1 cup

Cardamom paste-1 tsp

Cinnamon pieces-2,3

Green pepper-4,5 o’clock

Ginger paste-1 tsp

Garlic paste-1 tsp

Turmeric powder-1 tsp

Red chilli powder-1 tsp

Salty-tasting

Like oil-quantity

Chopped onion-1 cup

Cumin powder-1,1/2 tsp

Recipe:

Heat oil in a pan, fry onions, fry chopped prawns, add all the spices and stir continuously with mocha batter. add salt If the oil comes out, chop the green chillies. Take it down and serve it with steaming hot rice.
