Piyaju absolutely has to be on the Iftar plate. If you want to give this taste a new twist, shrimp Piyaju is the way to go. Because of this, there won’t be a need for any more materials. At home, whipping up a batch of this flavorful Piyaju requires only a few simple ingredients and won’t take long. Let’s get down to the recipe:
Recipe:
Prawn fish – 1 cup
Lentils – half a cup
Peas – half a cup
Chopped onions – 4 large
Chilli – 1 tbsp
Ginger paste- 1 tsp
Garlic paste- 1 tsp
Salt – to taste
Baking soda- 1 pinch
Oil – for frying.
How to make:
Mix all of the ingredients, excluding the oil, and knead them together before setting them aside for a bit. After that, cook them in oil at a high temperature. The temperature in the oven should be maintained at a medium setting. If you fry it before Iftar, you’ll have time to let it cool before serving it hot. The onion will provide the most satisfying flavour when consumed while still hot.
