Eid based Dhakai movie

Dhaka has played a substantial role in the computation of film releases over an extended period of time. During the celebration of Eid, there is a growing trend of film releases on an annual basis. Except for Eid, most films released throughout other periods of the year typically experience a lack of success. After carefully considering several issues, the producers and directors have reached a sense of tranquilly regarding the decision to release the movie on Eid.

There is speculation about releasing eleven films during the sacred occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. The films encompassed in this list are “Rajkumar,” “Kajalrekha,” “Omar,” “Deyaler Desh,” “Dead Body,” “Chakkar,” “Pulsirat,” “Mona: Jinn 2,” “Aare Jibon,” “Maya: The Last Love,” and “Esha Murder.” However, the final number of units accessible to the general public remains unknown.

There are those within the film industry who believe that viewers refrain from frequent cinemas despite the release of films during several seasons throughout the year. Consequently, even films with substantial financial resources are experiencing a decline in their reputation. When people are enthusiastic, Bengali films are a superb choice for family entertainment over the Eid vacation. Due to this rationale, Dhaka Film has been directing its attention around Eid to appeal to this supplementary audience in recent years. Given the circumstances, the producer has decided to schedule the film’s release during the Eid festival, despite its original intention to release it later. Regarding the film “Deyaler Desh,” a similar observation might be made. Despite being released on Eid’s holiday, the movie was not explicitly created for Eid. Throughout an interview with the media, the film’s director, Mishuk Moni, expressly claimed that Eid was not considered throughout the film’s creation. He stated that Eid has arrived to finalise the tasks related to the film. During the celebration of Eid, there is an increase in movie attendance. At times, it is absent. According to Shahin Sumon, the General Secretary of the Film Directors Association, a significant number of films, exceeding twelve, have been launched during the Eid holiday in recent years. What was the number of firms they possessed? According to multiple media sources, a limited number of films, including “Paran,” “Hawa,” “Priyatma,” and “Tunnel,” have managed to attain commercial success during the Eid festival. Despite being released two weeks after Eid, “Hawa” debuted. Conversely, the other films that were released simultaneously with these highly successful films were complete failures. What are the benefits of releasing a large number of films? Conversely, this director maintains that negotiations are occurring despite the need for positive reception and non-return on investment for several films produced during Eid. The directors are giving great importance to that.

The majority of films released during Eid have proven to be commercially unsuccessful. However, the issue remains as to why everyone is enthusiastic about showcasing their film on Eid. A director reported that last year, a significant portion of the investment in various films, such as “Casino,” “Prahelika,” “Lal Saree,” and “Adam,” was not refunded, as reported by multiple distribution corporations. The director remarked on the condition that their identity remains anonymous. Identifying specific persons is unattainable; however, a mere five percent of the funds were refunded from a single film. Conversations occurred on Galui, Shan, which had been emancipated on Eid the previous year, although the capital was still required to achieve its maximum capacity. During that particular time frame, the makers of both films duly notified the media about removing both films from theatrical venues. Furthermore, the simultaneous release of “Bidrohi” and “Bodho Shomya” proved unsuccessful. Given this circumstance, why would the release occur on Eid? The filmmaker elaborated, stating, “During the festival of Eid, there is a surge in the number of viewers, which significantly impacts the role of film producers and directors.” This response was provided in acknowledgement of any inquiries that were posed. There is an increased emphasis on promoting films via various media. During Eid, numerous families gather to watch films collectively.

As per the filmmaker, Cineplex served as the location for the premieres of multiple films. The audience members who regularly attend cinema screenings often find themselves watching another movie without physically going to the hall to buy a ticket. Many individuals observe the images above as a consequence. If the capital is not reimbursed, the films that did not succeed on Eid are also being evaluated for a minimum duration of two weeks, alongside the movies that did grow during the festival. Conversely, the plausibility of the conversation would be questionable if it were to be published at an alternative time. Shortly after its release, individuals would be observed departing from theatres in emotional distress.

The films released after Eid have not achieved commercial success in recent years. The year 2023 saw the release of fifty films, while 2022 saw the release of twenty. Except for the films screened at the festival, all the high-budget movies released during this period could have been superior. Director Shaheen Suman has observed a shift in the accounting of films distributed in theatres after 2016. The individuals expressed that they have accumulated significant experience in the film industry.

Conversely, I never anticipated that our film would revolve around Eid. In the past, I frequently attended the theatre and viewed numerous new films throughout the year. However, that is no longer the case.

Therefore, that situation is currently not being monitored; what is the reason for this? The filmmaker above observed that the COVID-19 pandemic has diverted viewers, leading to a self-centred attitude. Attending the theatre has eradicated the practice of viewing films. Have you encountered any additional cases when a skillfully crafted image or a compelling narrative has been unveiled to the audience? This observation suggests that production is a contributing component in this particular scenario. Ensuring the provision of high-quality pictures throughout the year is of utmost importance.

Iftekharuddin Naushad, the leader of the Producers and Exhibitors Association, believes that a persistent tendency towards producing films of subpar quality could be the reason for the absence of film production during alternative periods. The individual indicated that, except for manually tallied films, most movies released throughout the year exhibited substandard quality. New producers must possess a comprehensive understanding of the current condition of cinema due to their limited access to dependable information. They are incurring a financial loss by placing their trust in the director. The main factor contributing to this issue is the need for more skilled producers.

Where will there be a significant number of films on display?

The Association of Exhibitors has estimated that there are currently up to sixty distinct halls. It has the potential to exceed 120 during Eid. The theatrical production consists of a total of 35 stages. Ultimately, what is the total number of films that Hall will receive if ten films are released? Iftekharuddin Naushad stated that releasing a large number of films would lead to their failure in the commercial world. Based on the findings, it was determined that two films out of 10 achieved success; both hits would have garnered more significance if the flops had not occurred.

Furthermore, income would increase. Conversely, if the unsuccessful films released within three to four weeks after Eid, they would still be eligible for a certain level of financial compensation. Furthermore, subsequent cinematic works reflected the influence of the winning film. However, it is unlikely to occur. All of our pictures are undergoing damage.
