‘Amar Sesh Katha’ is banned

The government has prohibited the exhibition of the Amar Sesh Katha film due to its infringement of sub-section 4B(1) of the Film Censorship Act 1963. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has issued an order about this matter.

Reports state that M/s Savan Film Media, a business based in Kakrail’s Eastern Commercial Complex, produced the film in question. The appeal was dismissed based on the argument that the film ‘Amar Sesh Katha’ by Islam Mia contravened sub-section 4B(1) of the Film Censorship Act 1963.

According to the notice, the exhibition of the uncertified film in Bangladesh has been prohibited following the dismissal of the appeal. If the video is screened in any location, legal measures will be pursued against the individuals involved, potentially resulting in the confiscation of the film.

The film titled ‘Amar Sesh Katha’ was directed by Kazi Md. Islam. Mia was among the individuals who participated in the endeavour above: Joy Chowdhury, a recent arrival or newbie. The individual in question is named Kazi. The mentioned individuals include Zara Tyra, Kazi Hayat, Mahmudul Islam Mithu, Rebecca, Bobby, Subrata, Reena Khan, Dulari, Habib Khan, Abu Saeed, and Tiger Ravi.
