The BCB has authorised a compensation raise for the Bangladesh women’s national cricket team in their new central contract for 2024-25.
The 16th BCB board meeting at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Saturday yielded the news.
Grade A players earn BDT 120,000 per month, up to BDT 20,000, while Grade B players earn BDT 100,000, up to BDT 20,000.
The monthly salaries of Grade C and D players would rise by BDT 10,000 to BDT 70,000 and BDT 60,000, respectively.
The core contract contains 18 players, with Sharmin Akter Supta, Murshida Khatun, Marufu Akter, and Rabeya promoted to higher salaries.
We implemented women’s BCB match and series-winning bonuses. Based on opponent rating and match type, bonuses vary from BDT 30,000 to BDT 100,000.
The board also introduced the Women’s National Contract, which provides financial security to 30 players outside the core contract.
“This step is a reflection of our effort to ensure the financial well-being of our women cricketers while motivating them to perform at the highest level,” BCB president Faruque Ahmed said.

Grade A: Nigar Sultana Joti, Farzana Haque, Ritu Moni, Nahida Akter.
Fahima Khatun, Shamima Sultana, Sharmin Akter Supta, Murshida, Marufu, and Rabeya play grade B.
Grade C: Sobhana Mostar, Lata Mondol, Jahanara Alam, Shoma Akter.
