The 19th Telecine Awards were held on May 14 at Nazrul Mancha in Rabindra Sarobar, Kolkata. The award ceremony was not fit for three years due to the Corona situation. So this time, a three-year award ceremony was organized. Awards were given to artists from Kolkata and Dhaka from 2019 to 2021. Legendary star Alamgir and renowned singer of the subcontinent Runa Laila have been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award there.
‘Nolok’ has been selected as the best movie in Bangladesh in 2019. Shakib Sonnet has received the award for best director for this movie. Bobby became the best actress. On the other hand, Tasnim Anika picked up the award for the best singer for her song ‘Nolok’. Shakib Khan has been selected as the best actor of 2019. He received the award for the movie ‘Password’ directed by Malek Afsari.
The best movie of 2020 is ‘Gore’. Dipanbita Martin won the Best Actress award for her performance in this movie. Masud Hasan Ujjwal has been selected as the best director this year. Somnur Monir Konal won the Best Singer award. He has been chosen as the best singer in the film ‘Bir’.
The best movie of 2021 is ‘Mission Extreme’. Best Actor Arifin Shuvo (Mission Extreme), Best Producer Mir Sabbir (Raat Jaga Phul), Best Actress Ajmeri Haque Bandhan (Rehana Mariam Noor), Best Vocalist Mamtaz Begum (Raat Jaga Phul).
