Salman’s ‘Kisi Ka Bhai’ suffers a big flop in Bangladesh

Hindi film distribution in Bangladesh began with the release of the movie ‘Pathan’ in cinema on May 12th of this year. Unfortunately, the film did not perform as well as expected.

On August 25, Salman Khan’s ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ was released in 32 cinema halls in the country. The condition of the cinema is deplorable. The reason is, Salman Khan’s flop movie was released in Bangladesh after 126 days.

It is reported that 18 shows of ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ are being screened daily in five branches of Star Cineplex. The company’s senior marketing officer Mesbah Uddin Ahmed told the media, “It is not going on at all.” However, we did not expect much from the movie. On the one hand, old movies have also been released in OTT a long time ago. The movie did not run in India either. So who will watch this movie by spending four-five hundred taka here!’

The condition of other halls including Lion Cinemas of Dhaka, Blockbuster Cinemas, and Silver Screen of Chittagong is also the same.

Salman Khan’s heroine Pooja Hegde in ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ directed by Farhad Samji. Also stars Venkatesh, Preocha Chawla, Jagapathi Babu, Raghav Jual, Jesse Gill, Shehnaz Gill, Palak Tiwari Satish Kaushik etc.

Incidentally, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ has been made for around 225 crore rupees. It managed to collect a total of Rs 110.53 crore from India. The worldwide collection is Rs 182 crore. That is, the movie could not even collect the budget money from the box office.
