The Cinebuzz Times Magazine was established on December 1, 2021, with the guiding philosophy of “Connect Bengali Globally.” The inception of this endeavour was driven by the objective and aspiration of uniting the Bengali community on a unified platform to engage in discourse on their viewpoints and insights on social, cultural, and economic domains. Highlight emerging concerns within the Bengali community, including poverty, youth, health, women’s affairs, sports, arts, and cultural matters, while promoting knowledge of Bangladesh and Bengali villages. The forthcoming Bengali generation, particularly those already far from their homeland, will uncover their ancestral origins.
The journey of Cinebuzz Times has been filled with obstacles and challenges in the search for truth and facts. However, the dedicated team of individuals who are passionate about the magazine have persevered and remained committed. Despite limitations, the magazine has maintained its principles of responsible feature reporting. Each day brings new situations that must be overcome, making it a daily test and revolution. There are circumstances that arise which cannot be shared or avoided.
The media is a highly influential component of society. The media is commonly referred to as the fourth estate of a state due to its crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the freedom of expression and the right to knowledge of the people in a democratic society. The people’s right to information access, their capacity for expression, their freedom of thought, and—most importantly—their right to conscience are all significant determinants of a nation’s press freedom. People’s freedom of expression and conscience are susceptible to being compromised.
In a culture where individuals cannot freely communicate their thoughts and feelings, the guidance of the conscience is similarly compromised. The media disseminates socio-economic and cultural-political narratives, submerging individual and collective identities and shaping our way of life. As a social institution, the press erodes society’s fundamental principles and moral compass. The media has boldly aired such feature reports at different intervals.
As a result, Cinebuzz Time has actively shown its support for women’s rights, leading to the release of various articles and publications addressing women’s issues.
Given the current state of the earth, the issue of climate change is very evident. Cinebuzz Times is providing increased coverage on environmental and climate-related subjects. Many images of young individuals have appeared in the part designated explicitly for specialised reporting.
Since its inception, the depiction of contemporary Bengal has experienced an organic evolution. The NRB will provide a range of events specifically designed to benefit expatriates. Including many regional cuisines from around the country enhances the dishes featured in Cinebuzz magazine. The fashion sector experiences perpetual transformation. The fashion section is creating studies that address Bangladesh’s textile business, khadi industry, and gaming sector. Cinebuzz Times has also garnered readers’ acclaim in many domains, including entertainment, sports, beauty, and medicine sections. On the second anniversary of Cinebuzz Times, I congratulate everyone.
