‘Gore’, ‘Biswasundari’ awarded best films of 2020
In recognition of their contribution to film, the government of Bangladesh awards the National Film Awards to film artists and crew every year.
Following that, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has released the list of National Film Awards in 2020. The government-sponsored film ‘Gore’ has won awards in 11 categories.
Published on February 15, Deputy Secretary. The list signed by Saiful Islam shows the names of the awardees.
In 2020, 26 artists in 26 branches received this award. Actress Anwara and heroic freedom fighter and actor Raisul Islam Asad have been jointly honored for life.
Gore and Biswasundari have been jointly selected as the best films.

A total of 14 full-length, seven short and six documentaries were nominated for the National Film Award in 2020.
