On October 13, the movie ‘Mujib: The Making of a Nation’, based on the life of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, will be released across the country. Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud announced this.

The movie is a joint production of Bangladesh and India, directed by famous Indian director Shyam Benegal. Arifin Shubo played the role of Bangabandhu. Nusrat Imroz Tisha plays Fazilatun Nesha Mujib, Nusrat Faria plays Sheikh Hasina, and Riaz Ahmed plays Tajuddin Ahmed. Dilara Zaman, Chanchal Chowdhury, Siam Ahmed, Zayed Khan, Khairul Alam Sabuj, Ferdous Ahmed, Dighi, Raisul Islam Asad, Gazi Rakayet, Taukir Ahmed, Misha Saudagar, and more than a hundred artists from the country acted in other roles.
