Recently, Kolkata’s famous media outlet Anandabazar released speculative news that mentioned that a particular celebrity couple might be splitting up in the future. The discourse has raised speculation that the couple described might be the actor-director couple Srijit Mukherji and Rafiath Rashid Mithila.
The couple got married in 2019 and have been victims of many rumours despite their positive family interactions and photos posted on social media. On multiple family occasions, Srijit would often spend time with Mithila and her daughter.
When a Bangladeshi media outlet asked the actress about the rumours swirling around, she brushed them off as usual. Instead, she asked the media, “I am not associated with this (speculative article), is my name mentioned in the news?”
Mithila also mentioned to the media that she is currently busy with shoots. However, she had said earlier that she and Srijit often have to spend time apart due to conflicting work schedules, which might be why they’re not seen as often together anymore.
