Additionally, Abahani Limited and Mariner Youngs have jointly declared their victory in the Premier League championship. Rashid Sikder, one of the Hockey Federation’s executives, told the media that punishment was the primary reason for their disobedience.

Russell Mahmud Jimi, a Mohammedan striker, has received a 12-match ban. The ban includes three matches for his teammates Tanvir Rahman Siam and Deen Islam Imon, seven matches for goalkeeper Asadur Rahman Saad, two matches for goalkeeper Nayan, five matches for assistant coach Russell Mahmud Bappi, and two matches for Malaysian player Zulfi Russell. The hockey arena in Bangladesh has banned their advisory coach, Iman Gobinathan from Malaysia, for life. Apart from this, Mohammedan hockey team manager Ariful Haque Prince will not be able to serve on the field as a club official for the next four years.
