I am not attractive at all – Mrunal Tagore

Mrunal Tagore says, “It is challenging for newcomers to navigate Bollywood without having a star-child background”. Actresses, in particular, encounter numerous challenges. Sarcasm is often targeted in situations ranging from casting couch scenarios to body-shaming incidents. Things become easier when a film you star in achieves significant commercial success.

Actress Mrunal Tagore has gained acclaim for her roles in many Bollywood films, like ‘Love Sonye’, ‘Super Thirty’, ‘Batla House’, ‘Jersey’, and ‘Pippa’. His movie count grew steadily over time, but the beginning was challenging.

In a recent interview with the Indian media, Mrunal expressed his desire to work in Bollywood Hindi films despite making his acting start in the Marathi film business. That is why I asked for some manufacturers. Despite the request, I never imagined I would experience body shaming and receive derision instead of cooperation. One producer explicitly stated, “I am not beautiful at all.” They require actresses who are appealing. I responded by stating that both the living and deceased cells of my body possess attractiveness that not everyone is able to perceive. I also don’t want to display it constantly. I choose to maintain an authentic persona so that the director may consider me for any role.
