Actor Afran Nisho is joining the cast of directors Redoan Rony’s upcoming film, Domm, which is slated for release on the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
Redoan Rony shared that the movie is inspired by true events. Domm is the story of an ordinary man rising it’s about the power of a common man. I’ve been searching for this kind of story for many years. There’s a strength in the character that can inspire not just me, but the audience as well.
Nisho also believes the plot is totally unique. To my knowledge, no such film has been made in the country before. Domm is going to be a survival-based inspirational story. I have a soft spot for this kind of narrative. For me, the most important part is that Domm presents a challenging performance, which is what inspired me to take it on, shared Nisho.
The cast also includes Chanchal Chowdhury. Redoan Rony’s return to directing is something to celebrate. The story of Domm is outstanding I’ve never worked on something like this before. It’s incredibly challenging, and I think audiences will be surprised, shared Chanchal.
The director shared that the script is complete and now the project is in its pre-production stage. The film is being produced by SVF Alpha-i Entertainment Limited and Chorki.
