First-look poster of Shakib’s Borbaad out

The first-look poster of Shakib Khan’s upcoming movie, Borbaad, was unveiled in a grand ceremony. On this occasion, a program was organised in a hotel in Dhaka.

The motion poster shows Shakib with an intense look, a bloody face, and a revolver in his hand. The poster gives the vibe of a high-octane action-violence movie. Priyatma-famed Kolkata actor Idhika Paul will be seen opposite the Dhallywood superstars in the Mehedi Hassan Hridoy-directed film.

This is Hridoy’s first feature film after working on television, and he expressed his enthusiasm for the project, admitting that he was eager to ensure everything went flawlessly from the start. He said I wanted to do this right, so I kept quiet about the film. A fantastic team is working behind the scenes for ‘Borbaad,’ and everyone is happy with the progress. The audience will get a hint of what’s coming once they see the first look.

Shakib Khan said at the event, “I think Barbad will create a new history in the film industry. This film has a unique style.

It was known that the film was made with a budget of around Tk15 crore. This is a record in Bangladeshi cinema. The 80% shooting of ‘Borbaad’ was held outside the country. The popular stunt director of Bollywood and Telugu, Ravi Varma, directs the fighting scenes of the movie.

Scheduled for release during Eid-ulu-Fitr 2025, “Borbaad” is already generating buzz for its ambitious scale and promises of groundbreaking action sequences.
