Tigers to tour New Zealand

Bangladesh will visit New Zealand for a cricket tour in December of this year, as confirmed by New Zealand Cricket (NZC) on 18 July. This tour is a part of the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Future Tour Programme (FTP) and will include three One Day International (ODI) matches and a three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series.

On 17 December, the Tigers will start their tour with the first of three One-Day Internationals in Dunedin. The second and third games are planned for Nelson and Napier on December 20th and 23rd, respectively.

On 27 December, the visitors will participate in Napier’s first T20I of a three-game series. The second and third T20Is are scheduled for December 29 and 31 in Mount Maunganui. This is Bangladesh’s ninth tour of New Zealand in the past six years.

New Zealand, however, will tour Bangladesh right after the ICC ODI World Cup to take part in two-match Test series in November, which is part of the ICC Test Championship.
