Sonam Kapoor returns to film with ‘Blind’

After taking a significant break from acting to focus on parenting after the birth of her son Vayu last year, Sonam Kapoor is getting ready to make a triumphant return to the big screen. The proficient performer is slated to appear in the cinematic production entitled “Blind”, helmed by Shome Makhija.

“Blind” is a Bollywood remake of the 2011 Ahn Sang-hoon-directed Korean criminal thriller. The film above showcases the noteworthy performances of Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, Lilette Dubey, and Shubham Saraf in significant roles. The producers have declared that the film “Blind” will be released directly on the over-the-top (OTT) platform Jio Cinema.

Sonam Kapoor is scheduled to deliver a recitation of a poem during the coronation concert of King Charles. The upcoming streaming of “Blind” on July 7, which coincides with Sonam’s birthday, is anticipated to offer a captivating exploration of the protagonist’s world of blindness. Jio Cinema on Instagram revealed the film’s poster, inviting viewers to partake in the enigmatic and suspenseful storyline.

The film’s initial preview was disclosed in the past few weeks, featuring Sonam Kapoor brandishing a firearm in what seems to be a shooting practice sequence. The performer displays a strong sense of resolve and enthusiasm, attired in a dark ensemble and sporting a tidy bun.
