Recently, Cinebuzz Films premiered Briddhashram, a poignant short film directed by Sham Islam and produced by Jyotsna Islam, at the Genesis Cinema in London on August 17 in 2025. The Genesis Cinema become a stage for an evening of reflection and emotion during the premiere.
We want to introduce five other films to be produced under the banner of Cinebuzz Films as part of the company’s aim to highlight real-life problems of mass people.

Together, we can champion the change needed for a more supportive transit experience!
Shundori
The story of a 15-year-old girl who is struggling to live with epilepsy . Al though she bravely tries to cope with her illness, the villagers around her still do not properly understand the disease. Due to ignorance and superstition, her seizures are mistaken for “evil spirit possession,” and as a result, she is considered crazy. This misconception from society isolates her from her peers. Her family is forced to seek the help of a local shaman. For most of the day, Raya is kept chained in a room.
One-Way
I n the heart of Dhaka, a 16-year-old boy, drawn initially by the excitement of a drug-dealing gang, soon finds himself entangled in a web of dangerous activities like hijacking and kidnapping. As he prioritizes hi s mother’s safety, he courageously decides to leave the gang. Unfortunately, they resist his choice, jeopardizing his life. This challenging journey highlights the struggles many face in seeking a brighter path, serving as a powerful reminder of the resilience needed to overcome adversity and the importance of safety and supportive communities.
Pori-Lost In Dhaka
A young couple, along with their spirited seven-year-old daughter, Pori, embark on a hopeful journey from their village to the bustling city of Dhaka, Bangladesh. in search of a brighter future. However, their adventure takes an alarming turn when they lose sight of Pori at Tejgaon Railway Station. In their moment of urgency, they turn to a station employee for assistance and promptly report her missing to the police. As they delve deeper, they face the sobering reality that such disappearances are often connected to child trafficking. Months go by without any updates on Pori, adding her story to the harsh statistics of this growing crisis. This film sheds light on the heartbreaking impact of child trafficking, aiming to inspire awareness, empathy, and a call to action among viewers about this vital issue
Divorcee
Shakila is a 28-year-old divorced woman who works tirelessly six days a week. from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. She seeks a better life for herself and her seven-year-old son while living in a leased flat in urban Dhaka, Bangladesh. Facing financial difficulties and managing without a caregiver, she defies societal judgment toward divorced women. Each day is a challenge, yet she re mains committed to making it to the office on time, demonstrating her strength and determination in the face of adversity.
