Songs contribute to protests significantly

The rap song “Awaaz Uda” has generated a lot of conversation and has become quite popular as a catchphrase.

Hannan Hossain, a talented young rapper from Narayanganj and Cezanne’s sibling, joined forces to create and bring to life this track.

Hannan created the song “Awaaz Uda” on July 17, recorded it on the same day, and then shared it on YouTube on July 18.

Based on Hannan’s explanation, the students energetically moved around while I composed the music.

Eventually, a few guards made their way down, too.

A considerable number of individuals, however, chose not to speak up. They decided not to communicate with each other and avoided going down.

They had difficulty expressing themselves verbally. After seeing that, I immediately started composing the song.

Following the song’s release, the BCL leaders made menacing statements about Hannan. The authorities also visited the residence to apprehend him. Given the circumstances, Hannan found it necessary to go into hiding.

The police took him into custody after he attended a family member’s funeral.

This rapper spent a brief period of twelve days in jail.

The movement has led to the publication of at least forty Bengali rap tracks.

The sheer number of songs produced by different genres is genuinely remarkable.

Every Bengali rap song has played a significant role in advancing the movement. Hannan argues that rap tunes were the most popular form of music during this period.

Listening to songs such as “Katha Ka,” “Bangla Ma,” and “Bayanna” can be quite refreshing and energizing.

Bengali rap songs released within the movement include more

 ‘Desh sonskar’, ‘Shadhinotar gondo’, ‘chatro’, ‘Slogan’, ‘Odhikar’, ‘desh kar ‘, ‘Abu Saeed’, ‘Rokto’, ‘Desh karo baper na’, ‘uttor’, ‘shadhin bangla’, ‘Kat Khabi’, ‘Shakuner Chokh’.

On that day, the students confidently took to the streets together, ready to face whatever challenges came their way.

During the curfew, police fatally shot students in various parts of the country.

In response, several cultural institutions in Dhaka voiced their disagreement by taking to the streets and chanting “Muktir Mandir Sopanatle.”

Mohini Chowdhury, a gifted lyricist from West Bengal, gained widespread recognition for penning this timeless song that significantly contributed to the Dhaka movement.

Kazi Nazrul Islam’s poem “Karar Oi Louh-Kabat” inspired and motivated students during the revolution. Dwijendralal Roy’s “Dhandhanya Pushpavhara” was a traditional practice.

The movement has gained recognition for its impressive performances of various classic songs. Some notable examples include James’ rendition of “Bangladesh” in the style of Prince Mahmud, Wharfez’s version of “Janasrot,”

The soulful performance of “sdhanitoanta” by Haider Hossain, the captivating rendition of “Abar judge jete hobe” by Maqsood, and the captivating rendition of “Shono Mahajan” by Zero Band are just a few examples.

In addition, there are regular performances of songs such as “Deshta Tomar Baper Naki,” composed by Ithun Babu and performed by Mousumi, and “Hridoy Amar Bangladesh,” composed by Sohail Arman and performed by Habib Waheed, Arfin Rumi, and Pradeep Kumar.

There are also new songs

Farzana Wahid Sayan, a musician, passionately supported reforming the quota system. His contribution to the campaign was to create the song ‘Bhoy Banglaay’.

Sheikh Ishtiaq, Shakib Chowdhury, Raif Al Hasan Rafa, Prabar Ripon, and Jamshed Chowdhury each contributed to the performance of the song “Ei

“Shikal Para Chal” was composed by Kazi Nazrul Islam during the movement. They utilised music as a different approach to express their perspectives.

During his performance, Sheikh Istiaq voiced his dissatisfaction with this society, emphasising the importance of freedom of expression.

Ani Hasan composed “We Are Heroes” with a solid dedication to the students who had died during the revolution.

The lead vocalist of the suburban band, Sohag, performed the song “O Pradhan.”

The track “cholo vule jai” by Parsha Mahzabeen, a talented teenage vocalist, received widespread acclaim and became incredibly popular.
