Northern tradition is cooking banana mocha

What it takes to make

Banana Mocha – 1 pc

Small prawns-1 cup

Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

Chilli – to taste

Chopped onion- 2

Garlic paste- 1/2 tsp

Onion batter- 1 tsp

Cumin batter – little

Salt – to taste

Oil- 2-3 tbsp.

All that is required for boiling

Cumin – 1/3 tsp

Cardamom- 2-3

Cinnamon- 3 pieces.

How to make

First, cut and clean the mocha. Then, heat a saucepan with salt and water, and stir in some turmeric and mocha when it boils. After that, empty the mocha into a basket and give it a cold water wash. Next, oil a pan and lightly salt and turmeric the prawns. Once fried, take out the prawns. Pour hot oil over cardamom and cinnamon, then stir-fry until the onion is golden brown. Then, add the cumin seeds.

Once the onion is brown, add the onion, garlic, cumin, green chilies, turmeric, and salt pastes. After grinding the masala with water, toss in the pre-fried, chopped prawns. Finally, add the banana mocha and cook for five minutes. After that, strain and serve over steaming rice.
