Nora replaces Jacqueline as lead actress in ‘Crakk’

Nora Fatehi has taken over the role previously held by Jacqueline Fernandez as the lead actress in the upcoming movie called “Crakk: Jeetegaa Toh Jiyegaa.” The film is being marketed as India’s first-ever cinematic venture that focuses on extreme sports.

Sources informed The Hindustan Times that the switch happened as T-series took over, who had been pushing to make Nora their poster child for a while now. The film also stars Arjun Rampal.

The movie “Crakk” is directed by Aditya Datt, who previously directed the 2005 romantic thriller “Aashiq Banaya Aapne” featuring Himesh Reshammiya. This film marks the second project that Aditya and Vidyut have worked on together, following their collaboration on the 2019 action thriller “Commando 3”.

Moreover, “Crakk” had previously been under Vidyut Jammwal’s production, Action Hero Films prior to the T-series take over.

“Crakk” was apparently Jacqueline’s first project after her involvement with conman Suresh Chandrashekhar. The saga does not end here as Nora was also involved in the row, having filed a case for defamation against Jacqueline and several media outlets for spreading defamatory content against her in relation to Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

Nora further alleged that Jacqueline and the media outlets are “acting in connivance with each other” and accused the fellow actor of “prolonged and unnecessary harassment” through her statement to the media on why Nora was listed as a witness in the case.
