Rani Mukherjee has earned widespread recognition as one of the most talented actors in the Bollywood industry. This Bengali beauty has dominated the profession in the past few decades. Despite working in the profession for a long time, Rani’s audience’s passion for her has remained strong. Alternatively, it has gradually expanded.
Rani recently appeared at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), where she delivered a masterclass on compelling performances. He discusses the ongoing age debate in Bollywood. According to her, actors should not be evaluated based on age. This is primarily because the audience strongly prefers seeing young individuals on screen.
However, it is equally important to avoid falling into the delusion of believing that you will remain young indefinitely. While it’s great to have a youthful spirit, it’s equally important to embrace your age and assume roles appropriate for your life stage. Rani has successfully held her position in Bollywood for a remarkable 27 years. She continued to explore acting by taking on various roles.
In response, she stated that she has always worked in a pleasing and accepted way by her audience. The audience played a significant role in helping me overcome the age barrier. I assure my audience that I will continue working until I reach the age of 80. I have no plans to retire shortly.
