Dhaka actress Tasnia Farin made her film debut with the Kolkata movie ‘AR O Ek Prithivi,’ released last February. The film, produced by Atanu Ghosh, received a warm reception. Now, Farin is back in the heart of Kolkata’s film industry, taking the lead role in this year’s film, ‘Patri Chai,’ directed by Biplab Goswami.
In ‘Patri Chai,’ Farin is paired with Kolkata actor Arjun Chakraborty, known for his role in the acclaimed film ‘Lapata Ladies,’ which was written by Biplab Goswami and produced by Aamir Khan. The film also features veteran actors Sabyasachi Chakraborty and Mamataskar. Shooting for the movie is set to commence after the Dura Puja festival, with Pramod Film handling production.
