The winner of the Miss World competition, Kristina Piskova, hails from the Czech Republic, which is one of the most significant events globally. In Mumbai, India, the 71st edition of the competition took place.
The competition’s major event took place on March 9. The winner of the 2022 competition, Karolina Bilska, bestowed a crown upon Christina upon her head upon announcing the victory. A Polish woman held the title of Miss World for two years. Due to scheduling issues, the competition was not organised in 2023.
India has hosted the Miss World pageant for 28 years. Consequently, there was a significant uproar across India at the beginning of this event. The competition consisted of a panel of 12 judges, including notable Bollywood actresses such as Kriti Shannon and Pooja Heggar.
In addition to this, the attendees included Julia Elvin Morley, the CEO of Miss World Organisation, Amrita Phadnavis, Sajid Nadiadwala, Harbhajan Singh, Rajan Sharma, Jamil Saeed, and Bineet Jain. Manshi Chillar, the winner of Miss World 2017, was also in attendance.
