Curry industry legend Enam Ali passes away

The restaurant industry has lost a great person and asset, one of the icons within curry industry legend Enam Ali, MBE.
 
Enam Ali MBE Enam Ali, BME, is a Bangladeshi-born British businessman born on 1 December 1960 in Zinda Bazar, Sylhet, Bangladesh. He came to the UK in 1974 for further education, where he did a study on Hospitality management and started his business. He started his idea by founding the Le Raj restaurant in Epsom, Surrey, Spice Business Magazine, British Curry Awards, and Ion TV. Enam Ali MBE made an outstanding contribution to the curry industry due to his commitment. However, it is a significant loss for the curry industry and the Bengali community in the UK and Bangladesh.
