Pahela Baishakh will be celebrated in an inclusive manner

This year’s Bengali New Year 1432 will be celebrated with an inclusive festival. For the first time, the Bangladesh government has taken the initiative to organize a national Bengali New Year and an inclusive festival for the Chakma, Marma, Tripura, Garo, and other ethnic groups. Cultural Advisor Mostofa Sarwar Farooki gave this information.

The Cultural Advisor said that on the Bengali New Year, a Chaitra Sankranti concert has been organized at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on April 13. Miles, Warfaze, Dolchut, Avoid Rafa, Vikings and Stone Free Band will perform songs in this concert.

The Ministry of Cultural Affairs has doubled the amount of grants previously allocated to all districts and upazilas of the country to celebrate this year’s Bengali New Year. This year, for the first time, the government has allocated one lakh taka to each district for organizing New Year’s events at the district level, which was previously 50,000 taka, and 50,000 taka has been allocated to 495 upazilas for organizing New Year’s events at the upazila level, which was previously 30,000 taka.

Mostofa Sarwar Farooki said that this time the celebration of Bengali New Year is being given importance not only in the capital but also in all districts of the country. The presence of different communities in the procession has been arranged in such a way that their presence is not only visible but also visible.

He further said that Surer Dhara was proposed to organize their song of thousands of songs in an open space this time. Surely Dhara has agreed to it.
