Eid Recipe: Mutton Glassy

There are various types of meat in Eid cooking. There are various delicious dishes of beef and Khasi, along with polao, khichuri, and biryani. One such interesting term is mutton glassy. It is the traditional food of old Dhaka. This dish is cooked by mixing different spices with Khasi meat. Let’s know the recipe for making mutton glassy-

What it takes to make

Beef – 10 medium pieces

Chopped onion – 1 cup

Ginger paste-1 tbsp

Garlic paste – one and a half teaspoon

Coconut milk- 2 cups

Raw Chinese almond batter- 1 tbsp

Salt – to taste

Sugar – one and a half teaspoon

White pepper powder- 1 tsp

Potatoes – 5/6

Raisins- 1 tbsp

Joyphal and Jayatri Bata- 1 tsp

Cumin tala powder- one and a half teaspoon

Red Chilli Powder- 1 tsp

Milk – half cup

Ghee- one and a half tablespoons

Oil- 4 tbsp

Water – one and a half cups

Boiled eggs – for decoration.

How to make

Take jaiphal, jaitri, cinnamon and cardamom and grind them. Then continue to fry chopped onion with oil in a pot. Lightly fry with whole garam masala, add ginger-garlic batter, and fry a little more. Continue to grind for another 2/3 minutes. Now grind well with coconut milk, almond butter, chilli powder, and jaiphal-jayatri batter. After 3/4 minutes, continue to stir well with the meat. Now cover with water and cook for half an hour. When the meat is cooked, mix it with tala cumin powder, raisins, potatoes, sugar, milk, special garam masala, and ghee and simmer for another 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, garnish with eggs and serve the delicious mutton glassy.
