People come from far away to see this Shapler bill.
The red rose attracts everyone from late autumn to early winter with its mesmerizing beauty. Not only that, along with boating around Shaplar Bill, the outstanding beauty of the surrounding mountains captures everyone’s mind.

Innumerable beautiful flowers bloom here every morning, countless travellers float in boats as soon as every day dawns to meet them. Since it is winter, you will see many kinds of birds here. Every year, many migratory birds come to this DB. The red colour of the morning, the beautiful beauty of the mountains, and the chirping of the birds – this is a nature’s paradise. An additional attraction is the row of hills near Haor. The mountains of Meghalaya in India seem like another paradise.
History: On March 16, 1835, Rajendra Singh, an Englishman named Harry, was captured and looted from Raja Vijay Singh’s kingdom. The memory of this state is intertwined with DB Haor. Later it became his burial place. Moreover, there is a temple here which is about 200 years old. According to history, the king of Jainta was drowned here. This temple was built in his memory.
How to go:
Shapler bill can be reached from Sylhet city by bus or CNG reserve. By bus, you have to get down at Jaintapur Upazila of Sylhet. From there, you will reach DB Howre after a 5-minute walk. Besides, you can take a TomTom and even bills. In that case, the bus fare will cost only 60-70 taka and reserving CNG fare can be done within 1500-1800 taka. Besides, you can go from Sylhet port to Jaflong via Laguna, and the fare will be 60 takes. But from Laguna, you have to get down to Jaintapur Bazar.
Reserve a boat rental of taka 400-500 to explore Shapler Bill. But according to that season, the rent is less and more. But you have to do the shopping well.
There are no restaurants or food courts around Shapler Bill. So you can take some food and water with you.
