The Bangladesh Probashi Kallyan Parishad will observe National Expatriate Day on December 30, 2023, in London, along with the global Bangladeshi community.
A significant number of Bangladeshi nationals residing abroad have engaged in a prolonged endeavour to compel the government of Bangladesh to recognise their valuable contributions and unwavering loyalty.
After a prolonged period of anticipation and with significant support from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. M. A. Momen, Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment and the Bangladesh High Commissioner to the United Kingdom in 2022, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh has officially declared that the National NRB will take place on December 30.
The National Reserve Bank of Bangladesh (NRB) expresses gratitude to the government of Bangladesh for bestowing upon them the well-deserved recognition and new identity. NRB Day was widely and internationally celebrated for the first time. Both a new identity and recognition are currently in existence.
